Things That Are Close to Me. . . Animal Cruelty

All over the world, there are thousands of farms, factories, or facilities where animals are being experimented on for research, used for breeding, killed for fur, and sometimes even eaten. It's not just these either. Some pet owners abuse and neglect their pets All of these things result the animals to suffer with pain, turn violent, and just be down right miserable. These acts should be illegal everywhere.

No animal should be kept in a cage smaller than they are and brutally killed or tortured. No animal, no matter what the circumstance may be, deserves that kind of behavior towards them. In china, they have several animal factories where puppies and dogs are kept in cages, with no food or water, then soon skinned ALIVE, then left to bleed to death. Most and almost all go through an unbelievable amount of pain through torture before they die.

"Animals are made of flesh and blood and bone just like humans, They feel pain just like we do. Recognition of that grows year by year. The animal rights movement is a social justice movement (similar to) suffrage and civil rights." -Bruce Friedrich, PETA's vice president for campaigns. “Tiger cub photo booth operators perpetually breed big cats so that they will have an endless supply of cuddly cubs to attract paying customers. When the cubs outgrow their "cuteness," they are dumped at roadside zoos or left to languish in cramped cages for the rest of their lives. Some don't even make it that far.” (By Jennifer O’Connor – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (MCT) www.peta.org STATE AND COUNTY FAIRS: Unfair to animals)

how would you feel if someone locked you in a cage, tortured you, starved you, pinned you down & beat you to a bloody pulp with a stick, stabbed you, grabbed you by your feet and bashed your face into the ground, broke your legs, then skinned you alive? They are just sick twisted people that don't give a dang about anything, they deserve to have the same thing done to them. There will probably always be animal cruelty, but no one said we can't stand up for these animals that don't have a voice. they still don't deserve that behavior. Sure animals were sent here to eat, but that has nothing to do with how they are treated, they don't need to be tortured first, work? you want it done you can do it your self. sure horses can help out, but their not ur slave. again, there are many uses for animals, but they don't need to be treated that way.

see videos here

after your done watching this, lemme ask you again, how would you feel if this was u? don't tell me "oh whatever i wouldn't care" because i know that know one on here would like to go through that, go through all that pain. IT'S NOT OK.

Me, Myself, & I

I'm a 15 year old girl, who not too long ago decided, I'm going to Culinary school!  I've taken food classes since Jr. high and hoped to get one in high school. I guess I'll try next year. I loved my foods classes and my teacher, the question is still undecided with what i'm going to be, a chef, or an actress.  I have big dreams for both.  But something tells  me it will end up being a chef, but no matter what I will have a very strong desire for acting.  If my culinary dream takes place, I will hopefully be able to open up my own restaurant, or bakery. I already have people in mind to hire! I have a design picked out and everything!  I can't decide which food is my favorite, or which 'sinful sweet' is the best,  I still have more to taste, to invent, and to make, to choose a favorite.  Favorites will always change!  A little on the side, I love music, I play the viola, I live on my ipod.  I love to be outdoors, hiking, fishing & camping I love animals ( I have a dog and 2 cats.)  I ONLY watch TV if Supernatural is on, my fav TV show! I love to read, I hate being forced to, and of course I LOVE to cook  This blog is strictly for food fans, people who have a passion for culinary, and future chefs!
